A Travellerspoint blog

We are home...boo hoo

OK folks we are back home. We spent 3 days in and around Boulogne-sur-Mer, but to be honest we did not move out of the van, other than to get Poppy to the vets... It rained and rained and rained... none stop downpour....We were very glad to see Saturday morning and head for the train. After listening to the news about 'The Jungle' I am also pleased that we came back on Saturday before it all started kicking off. Another motorhomes (who by the way had a big Doberman!!!) said he had been out with the dog at 4am and saw a car circling the site with a number of ethnic people in it....so we did a though check of the motorhome before setting off, but obviously we were not posh enough for them to hitch a ride with us...LOL or maybe the site of that Doberman put them off!!!!
We are planning (weather permitting) to head off again on 27th of December and head through France and into Spain for the warmer weather. Now for the next 7 weeks it is get all the jobs done and have Christmas.......
Lovely talking to you all and see you just after Christmas...
