Buying shares in Anti Bacterial Wipes and Bleach
Well we are nearly ready for the off.. I have spent a fortune in anti bacterial wipes and bleach and the house is clean and not a germ in site!!!! We have both spent a fortnight cleaning preening washing and cutting grass, gardening and generally making sure it is all clean and working as it needs to etc.
While we have been at home, we have had a new drive and patio and it is looking really fab. We have also (well Graham really) refurbished the garage but as the car will not fit in easily it is now a very big shed!!! but it is dry and not leaking like a sieve as it was last winter. We have been busy bees and now need to get away for a rest and some sun.
We also need to get back to daily exercise We have accessed the NHS quiet a bit too. They decided that at 'our age' we needed tests for this and tests for that....some inconclusive results resulted in me having a colonoscopy, which showed absolutely nothing. I also had blood tests and it showed I was B12 deficient and I underwent a fortnight of injections, every other day. But now just need one every 3 months. Graham has had blood tests and he is seeing the doctor this afternoon for the results. He also had his review for his COPD and was fine. I am sure that last winter away from cold and wet helped with that. I should have seen my surgeon last March when we came back but surprise surprise they never sent for me. I saw the dietician last week and she said I should have had a 12 month review, but didn't think they would be able to get me in before we went..... OH but they did. Tonight at 7:40 PM.... I cannot believe that I am seeing the consultant at that time of night. We have also done the dentist and so are fighting fit for the trip. Poppy too has been to the vets and she is also well for her age. She is getting a make over tomorrow, so that she will not be too hot. She needs to get a cut, as she is one shaggy doggy. . I am cut and coloured and Graham is cut and ready. Molly Motorhome has been serviced too and a few jobs done on her too.
Well we set off on Saturday and arrive in France on Sunday. I am going shopping on Friday as shops and supermarkets are few and far between in France on a Sunday. So a few provisions to last us those first few days and we will also get a few euro's too.
Hope you will enjoy my ramblings over the next couple of months. Oh if you enter your email address in the subscribe part of the page it will inform you (I hope) when I have posted. Save all that time checking in. I have made a few changes this year and I hope I have got rid of the glitches etc.
